A Little Bit About Me

Welcome Milo!!

Milo LOVES to play, and will happily toss his toys around the yard, keeping himself endlessly entertained! He needs a nice big yard where he can run and get all his crazies out so he can be his very best self! He can get frustrated when he doesn't have the opportunity to get his energy out, and wouldn't be suited to an apartment as he has shown us he needs much more space! He would be such a fun running or biking partner for someone active!

Milo does have a tendency to jump, and is working really hard on correcting this behavior with positive reinforcement! He just gets so happy to see you, he wants to be as close as he can and kiss you. He is very food motivated and praise oriented, and will thrive with a gentle training approach as he succeeds with a reward based system! When you ask him to sit, he lays down flat on his belly - its so cute! He's making great progress every day on his training and will excel with a dedicated home!

Milo is a large fella who can be quite strong and pulls hard on the lead, and would love a guardian to show him the ropes on loose lead walking, and would enjoy learning his recall! He is fully house trained, and has been so tidy for us!He plays well with other dogs, although a bit forward at first and does best with similar minded friends!

Milo is such a fun and loving fella who is so ready to get started on his new life! If you are looking for a social fella to be your new adventure pal, apply below!

Visit the BC SPCA Victoria Center to potentially view this pet and apply to adopt in person; OR

Submit an online application and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit.

Due to the high number of applications, we will only be contacting potential matches to further review their interest. If you have any questions about an animal, please send us an email in lieu of calling. Our phone lines are extremely busy and we are not always able to answer every inquiry.

PLEASE NOTE that some animals may not be available for public viewing due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors. Kittens are not available for viewing as they are often in foster homes for health & safety reasons. We strongly recommend interested parties submit an application using the above the link to arrange a potential meet and greet.

The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, staff and animal well-being permitting!

Animals cannot be held for potential adopters for more than 24 hours without a legitimate reason.
