Q-Tip is a handsome 5 yr old Angora goat looking for a forever home. He was castrated a few months ago and is doing great! He is warming up to people and is very shy but curious. This lovable goat has plenty of personality and will make you fall in love. Q-Tip has been in a herd and does very well. He loves his treats and will eat them out of your hand. He isn't hard on fences and is really easy to manage. Q-Tip would fit in well at a hobby farm. He is very bonded with a 2 yr old doe named Cinnamon. Even when there were more goats , Q-tip and Cinnamon sought each other out and enjoy playing and lounging around together. He has been sheared and his coat is growing in very well. What is special about an Angora goat?Angora goats are kept mainly to produce mohair which is used in the upholstery and apparel trades. Its particular characteristics are that it dyes to vibrant shades, retains its shape (memory), sheds dirt and imparts a 'sheen' onto finished articles. Or you can make sweater, scarves, socks , mittens or blankets. Q-Tip is wethered and vaccinated and has tested negative for CAE, CL, and Johne's disease. If you think you would be a good fit for Q-Tip, please submit an online application at https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/equine-farm-animal-adoption-application-form/#gf_13.
