A Little Bit About Me

Lucy is a 2-year-old female dog with a heart as big as her eyes are gentle. She came into our care under tough circumstances - a frightened young mom with newborn puppies, unsure of the world around her. But over time, Lucy has shown us just how brave and resilient she truly is.

From not being able to be touched to now enjoying gentle affection and tasty treats from those she trusts, Lucy has made remarkable progress. She continues to build confidence each day, and her transformation has been nothing short of inspiring.

Lucy is still learning that leashes aren't scary, so she would thrive in a calm, patient home with a secure yard where she can explore, relax, and stretch her legs while continuing to work on her leash training at her own pace. A quieter environment without too much hustle and bustle will help her continue blossoming.

Now that all her puppies have grown up and found their own paths, it's Lucy's turn to shine. She's ready to embrace the "empty nester" lifestyle - and nothing would make her happier than being the center of your world.

Lucy needs a family that understands that trust takes time, and is willing to put in the love, patience, and consistency to help her continue to grow. In return, she'll offer a loyal heart, quiet companionship, and the joy of watching a once-nervous dog learn what it means to truly feel safe and loved.
