Reese is as sweet as everyone's favourite chocolate, so why not your new favourite dog?She is a fun, loving young lady looking for an experienced home. Reese would benefit from someone who can work on her confidence as she can be quite anxious, and timid with new things. With slow introductions to new things and new people, Reese will hopefully gain the confidence she needs to become the dog of your dreams! Reese would do best in a breed-experienced home who can help her work on her basic manners, jumping, walking well on a leash, and proper introductions to new dogs. She's very food motivated, so positive reinforcement training would be the best for her ongoing training! Reese has shown dog/cat reactivity and would do best as the only pet in the home. This bright, friendly girl greets staff with a wagging tail every day, and she enjoys playing with her toys and running in the yard. Do you think you could be Reese's person? Here are some ways to find out:1. Visit our centre to meet her during viewing hours at 3202 Norland Ave, learn more about her ideal match and apply to adopt in person; or2. Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions, an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs. Please note our adoption/viewing hours 1-5pm Monday to Wednesday and Friday. (Closed to the public Thursdays)1-4pm Weekends
