A Little Bit About Me

Otis is a sweet boy currently under medical care. This boy is a real dream, he spends most his days lounging in offices (why he might not be in his kennel when you visit!) with our staff. Otis is noted to have some separation anxiety issues that manifest as destructive behaviour where he can cause damage to himself in the process. Otis has started a medication while in care and we have seen great improvements in his anxiety, with proper medication and management his anxiety should be well controlled for the remainder of his life.
Otis is said to be reactive to dogs, we have not noted this in care though we are very respectful of his boundaries. At this time Otis would be ideal as an only pet in the home.
If you're looking for someone to come to work with you, to keep your feet warm, or relax with you at home, Otis is your boy! If this sweet senior pup sounds like the dog for you, please contact the Victoria branch at 250 388 7722 or victoria @spca.bc.ca!
