A Little Bit About Me

Meet Hazel!

This brown eyed beauty is looking for a home that can show her what life is all about. Hazel had an isolated start to life and is learning all about walking on leash and having love and attention from people. Hazel is quick to give kisses to any new people she meets and seems to be excited to see other dogs, but seems to prefer dogs closer to her size. Hazel cannot go into a home with small dogs.

Hazel still has big puppy energy and likes to display her excitement through mouthing and jumping up! Hazel can be overly excited by long walks and taking in all the new things that the world has to offer. She will need an adopter that is willing to work with an Animal Kind trainer on improving this reaction. We have already seen so much improvement on this behavior in shelter and can only imagine how much she will thrive when in a loving home!

Hazel seems to be house trained and is a smart girl and a quick learner. She will be eager to please anyone that can offer her treats and love in return.

Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Hazel's person? Apply today!

Friendly tip: If you're looking for a surefire way to make your application to stand out, consider telling us a little bit about yourself in the "anything else you'd like us to know?" section! What brought you to adopt? Have you had any previous pets? What makes you the perfect match for this animal? Write as little or as much as you'd like!
