A Little Bit About Me

Meet Freddy, a wise and gentle soul seeking a peaceful haven to spend his golden years. He came in with numerous other cats, all very skinny and malnourished. They were also riddled with concerning worms. Freddy is doing so much better after getting deworming treatments and proper food. Adopters may need to be prepared to administer extra deworming treatments if needed.

At the ripe age of 10, Freddy carries himself with warmth and a heart as big as his purr. Freddy radiates affection, cherishing every moment spent in the company of his human companions. Though he may move a bit slower than in his youth, his spirit remains as lively as ever, with a twinkle in his eyes that speaks of a lifetime of love yet to give. Freddy longs for a quiet home where he can bask in the sunbeams and nap in cozy corners, content in the knowledge that he is cherished and adored. He may like to hide a bit at first in a new environment until he feels more comfortable. Adopting Freddy means welcoming not just a cat, but a cherished friend who promises to fill your days with companionship, comfort, and endless love.

**Freddy is currently awaiting dental surgery and is not ready to go home - but foster-to-adopt may be an option for local adopters while he is awaiting his surgery. Ask staff for more information**

Can you offer this big boy the fur-ever home he is searching for? Here are some ways to find out:

1. Visit our centre to meet this pet, learn more about their ideal match and apply to adopt in person; or
2. Submit an online application https://spca.bc.ca/survey/cat-adoption-application-kamloops and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit!

**Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions, we will only be contacting potential adopters to further review their interest. We are not able to contact all applicants.**
